If you’re looking for a healthy and refreshing snack in El Dorado, you’re in luck. The world’s largest smoothie chain, Smoothie King, has a new store located next to Scooter’s on Oil Hill Road.
Just in time for summer, the store will open to the public on Saturday, June 19.
Smoothie King offers unique menu options that are purposefully blended to meet specific customer needs, goals and ambitions. They are committed to mixing a nutritious smoothie with whole fruits and organic vegetables.
On Thursday, Smoothie King invited the El Dorado football team to drop by the store and sample their smoothies.
“It was a great event,” said Beth Wittenberg, owner of El Dorado’s Smoothie King. “It’s a great store for the community. It will help everyone make healthy choices. It will also help athletes fuel their bodies and it will be a great place for young children. “
In addition to inviting the El Dorado football team, Smoothie King also hosted former Clemson football player Brandon Maye. Right before arriving at Smoothie King, Maye spoke to the El Dorado players.
“The coaches did a great job,” said Brandon Maye. “It’s a focused team and I wanted to let them know, even though they were the first team in school history to win a playoff game, not to be content with that. There is another level. which they can play. “
Maye also mentioned that he spoke about responsibility and caring. He met Wittenberg at Discovery Day and they planned for this opportunity before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Maye plans to open a Smoothie King store.
“A lot of people in the North aren’t really familiar with the Smoothie King brand,” Maye said. “The brand is all about health. It helps people with protein, overall fitness and not just a dietary supplement. I think everyone should come to Smoothie King in El Dorado and show their support. “
