Ed Miller was appointed Chief Golf Professional at Mount Pleasant Golf Course by the Baltimore Municipal Golf Corporation (BMGC), also known as Baltimore’s Classic Five.
Previously, Miller held the same title at Forest Park Golf Course since July 2015.
As Chief Golf Pro at Forest Park, it is Miller’s drive to make the customer service experience the best it can be that has garnered praise among patrons who have visited the course during his tenure. With over 20 years of experience in the golf industry, Miller’s experience in staff deployment and monitoring, professional store management, tournament management, equipment repair and customer satisfaction. clientele have also been key to the continued growth of the course.
Prior to his position at BMGC, Miller was the teaching professional at the Bel-Air Golf Center in Kingsville, helping to develop the women’s and junior golf programs while providing one-on-one lessons as well as planning, budgeting and implementation. implementation of lesson plans for the course.
Miller was also the PGA Director of Education at the Bruce Crampton Sports Performance Center in Annapolis. He has also held other professional golf positions at Bonnie View Country Club in Pikesville, Greystone Golf Course in White Hall and Rocky Point Golf Course in Essex.
Beyond his teaching experience, Miller played on the Gateway Tour and in 2004 he competed in the 2004 Virginia Beach Open of the Nationwide Tour.
