Prince George looked like a little businessman at Euro 2020

A few selected cabinet members played football on Tuesday, making an appearance at Wembley Stadium in London to watch the UEFA Euro 2020 championship between meetings. At least that’s what I’m guessing from the costumes seen on Prince William, Kate Middleton and… who is this little businessman? Is Prince George about to offer me vested shares? Look at this little adult. Time must fly when you trade stocks.

Apparently, the royals were seated in a corporate box for the game, William being the president of the Football Association and all. This may explain their professional attire – although nightmarish guest Ed Sheeran was also there and wore a soccer jersey, so maybe the costumes had something to do with palace protocol. Personally, I’m a little surprised that Sheeran and this family are still talking after Princess Beatrice cuts him in the face with a ceremonial sword as he tries to knight James Blunt, but anyway.

The little prince wore an outfit to match his father’s – a blue suit with a blue, red and white striped tie, which would have been “a nod to the colors of the British flag” and many other flags as well. George, a football enthusiast with an uncompromising eye for talent (or lack thereof), seemed to be enjoying himself. He praised the hard work of his team:

And took a moment to re-evaluate the business model.

He will be back on Monday.

Update: The little businessman is back in the company’s dressing room, making an appearance in the Euro 2020 final on July 11. Prince George and his parents seemed to be having a much more lively time on Sunday, the former going absolutely insane when England scored their first (and, at the time of writing, only) goal against Italy two minutes after the start of the match. Apparently there had been a debate at Kensington Palace over whether or not George was going to break the official championship dress code, which… petitioned to let the baby boss wear his soccer jersey next time!
