Karrion Kross is currently streaking a few wins on Monday Night Raw, and it has been revealed that he will stay on the red mark during the WWE Draft. Kross actually made his Raw debut while still an NXT Champion, but since joining the full-time Raw roster, he’s received a few changes in his gear and overall appearance. That includes the addition of straps and a warrior-style helmet, and in the most recent episode of Table Talk, he explained the inspiration for the look and how the helmet came into play.
When asked who invented the mask, Kross replied, “I’m not quite sure at this point. I had been briefed on, I guess it was a creative team conversation, a series of people trying to develop the original concept that was presented at NXT. I guess it was a team of people. The direction I think they were trying to go was basically a gladiator’s idea. introduced the lower body equipment to NXT when I faced Finn Balor for the title. “
“My original concept was like, it looks like what the Colosseum days would be like. We’re in a circular area with people around. With the Karrion Kross character presentation and development, it wasn’t just a regular game. that people were entering, ”Kross said. “Winning or losing, you might not come out the same way. I was trying to project that kind of energy into it. What they wanted to do when I was going up was play with that. where we’re at with that, ”Kross said.
We’ll have to wait and see if any other items are added to his gear to move forward or if any of them are changed. Kross looks to become an even bigger element on Raw, and he’ll have a lot of new talent to face thanks to the Draft bringing in people like Edge, Seth Rollins and more.
